The day started at the beach.

Everyone finds their spot and sets up for a
morning of swimming, snorkeling and exploring.

Snorkel gear in hand and the group heads into the water.

Once in, a few snorkeling instructions and we're good to go.

A Puffer fish follows alongside.

First big encounter - a school of Blue/Gold snapper.

A Panamic fanged blenny hides behind a tiny little outcrop.

A female Mexican Hogfish swims by.

A school of Lined Grunts

On our afternoon cruise the group spots something in the water.

A flock of birds had gathered to
feed from something stirring the waters.

An elusive Finback whale.

Once we arrived at our destination we head off to beachcomb.

It's a beautiful afternoon with a light breeze.

Collecting a few sea treasures.

A makeshift shelter probably used by a local fisherman.

Jamie finds a large jellyfish washed up on the shore.

A 2 foot long dried up Balloonfish.

Janelle discovers a dead skeleton and feathers of a brown Pelican.

A Sally Lightfoot crab sneaks around the rocks as we explore.

There was lots to explore and treasures to find.

A quick hike up the hill.

We end the day on the beach as the sun begins to set.

Yesterday was a tiring day. We had 3 planes, cars and a train. It felt like I was in Trains, Planes and Automobiles.

Last night we were all very tired. So we sat out on the back of the boat and watched the sunset. After that some went upstairs to the top deck and some stayed on the middle deck. After that we all went to bed. I had a GREAT sleep.

Today we went snorkeling at Lela's beach. It was awesome. Next is lunch and then hopefully swimming with the sea lions. I want this to never end.

So we are sitting on the upper deck of the ship and talking about plankton and gametes, this is what we're swimming in. It was very entertaining! Lela is one of a kind.

Today we went snorkeling, it was intense. There were schools of tuna and anchovies. The anchovies started jumping and made Rachael cry. I will admit though, it was scary and frightening.

After our snorkel we visited the sea lions at their habitat. Jim gave us a naturalist talk on the sea lion habitat. He's a nice guy.

For lunch we had a Mexican buffet which included a taco type dish called Pappas. It was delicious. Gotta go now.

We went snorkeling this morning and I think it was the kewlest thing ever! There were so many different kinds of fish. Veronika and I swam back after everyone else and while we were swimming a school of sardines swan around us and underus and it looked like a giant wave. We also saw a HUGE purple sun star under us.

Overall, this was one of the most amazing things I have ever done.

We went snorkeling and it was amazing! It was like the fish didn't even know we were there. A school of sardines swam into me and Kapri and we were screaming for a second because they startled us. The puffer fish were sooo cute!

After I took off my flippers, I went swimming and it felt weird. And I didn't get sunburned!

We went to the boat and got changed then we went to the dining room where we had these delicious potato things. Kapri got this really pretty plate of food

I actually didn't cry (seriously). Also, they're sardines not anchovies.

Okay so today after snorkeling (which was amazing) we had lunch of spaghetti, chicken and garden salad. After that we all chillaxed for awhile and 3/4 of us fell asleep (not me). I hung with Lela and soon played cards with a bunch of people who had just awakened from their naps.

Around 6:00 pm we headed to the beach and collected shells. I don't think anyone has mentioned this but we travel everywhere by panga (small motor boats).
The wind picked up and we adventured back to the ship.
