Day 3 - part 2

continued from Day 3 - part 1

After lunch we head out to the beach for a snorkel.

Geared up and good to go!

A school of Yellow-tailed Surgeonfish.

A school of Machete/Milkfish.

A Finescale triggerfish with trigger up. A sign of protecting it's territory.

It was a great snorkel and just nice to kick back and reflect.

Paige and Ron thoroughly enjoyed their snorkel.

They kayak back to the boat.

A coral Inukshuk is left behind as a memory.

Jim and Elizabeth pose for a picture as we head back around the island.

Our late afternoon adventure take us into a mangrove lagoon.

There was lots of marine life abound.
Stingrays, fish and intertidal animals on the roots of the mangrove trees.

A small school of fish scurry by.

A Brown Pelican sits high atop the mangrove canopy.

Also, a Great Blue Heron.

We sneak down one of the canals to see what we can find.

Unfortunately it was more like what we could smell.

The remains of a large baleen whale.

At the end of the day we all head up top for late afternoon cocktails.

Followed by yet another a beautiful sunset.
