Day 5

The seas were rough this morning so we stayed close to the boat but
managed to venture off to hike and explore one of the sloping arms of the island.

This was an amazing place to explore the diversity
and adaptations of the different species of cactus.

Ron and Paige pose in front of a Pipe Organ cactus.

Amanda observes an Agave cactus at a seedling stage.

Charlotte stops for a picture of a Teddy Bear Cholla cactus.

Steve and Charlotte pose in front of a Cardon cactus.

A spiny lizard looks on.

Stephanie and Steve pose in the sandstone formation.

A group picture in a hidden part of the formation.

A beautiful view of the bay.
Unfortunately, this ends our adventure at sea and we sadly head back to La Paz.

Before saying goodbye to the crew...

... the group has come up with a song (in Spanish) thanking the wonderful crew.

Saying goodbye!

Day 6 was spent shopping. Everyone did
their own thing but our last night in La Paz - Day 7

Dinner and drinks at a fancy local restaurant.

Serenaded by a  Mariachi band.

Lessons in Salsa dancing!

...and this pretty much sums up the camaraderie of the trip!
