![]() The group ended up with 24 household gift bags, 16 school supplies and toys gift bags and one teachers gift bag. |
The
Distribution![]() The first stop was the coastal fishing town of San Evaristo. The town was quiet. ![]() Not even the kids were in school. So gift packs were left at the doorstep of the school. |
![]() Finally a family. They explained to us that most of the town went to La Paz for the Carnival. ![]() Down to the salt pans of Evaristo where more families lived. ![]() One of the homes near the salt pans.

![]() We spotted the fishing trawler we toured the day before so we hopped in the panga to fetch fresh shrimp and give them a few of the gift bags.

Liz and Jan spent a lot of time and
money collected thoughtful household, toiletry, clothes, toys and school
supplies for the Gift program. Most of the gifts were distributed during
the trip and what was left over were given to the crew, their families and
neighbors they felt would most prosper from the gifts.
