You know our trip comes to an
end when the water toys get deflated.

We arrive back at the docks and sadly say goodbye to the crew.

The finest crew you could find in the Baja.

As the sun rose, it was hard to believe that 5 days had passed since we left the marina in La Paz. The reality of it all was that we were heading back to port this day. Once again we lifted the anchor after breakfast and headed for one last destination where we would spend the rest of our day in the sun and the sand on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Some people headed out in the kayak, the rest piled into the pangas with beach gear and snorkel gear. It was the hottest day of the trip by far so we took refuge in the water by wading and splashing around. Some of us managed to climb the burm and explore the sand dunes and the flora of the area. It was hot on the beach but it was hotter up there so the exploring was very short lived.

Some of the group (you crazy kids) took to burying each other in the sand while some of us took to the water for one last snorkeling adventure. The water was clear and... cool... and there were many beautiful fish to be seen.

After a few hours at the beach it was time to get out of the sun. We made our way back to the Fiesta for lunch and to pack up our things before we arrived in La Paz.

Alas, once we arrived at the docks, we said our last goodbyes to the fantastic crew. This trip was unforgettable in every way from the whales that we encountered, to the people that we spent time with. Every moment was filled with laughter and happiness that will remain in our hearts forever. The crew was very much a part of making our memories so special.

We now depart the boat checking in at the Los Arcos Hotel. We will spend the next three days and  nights shopping, strolling the Malecon and sipping margaritas.

Day after tomorrow we head out to Magdalena Bay for the gray whales.
