Day 2 - Photo Gallery

We started our day's adventure with a visit to the fishing village of
Isla Pardito. The best part of the day's catch - Pargo, a type of snapper.

The heart of the fish was still beating when removed from the body.
Notice the isopod attached to the heart.

Part of the day's catch. Cardinal fish (red),
Finescale Triggerfish (gray) and a Bluechin parrotfish.

Chocolate clams.

Sicklefin Smoothhound shark.

A gift from the fishing village.

Kayaking to the shore before snorkeling.

Irv and Dave gear up for the snorkel.

Chocolate Chip seastar.

A school of Graybar Grunt fish.

It was a fantastic snorkel. Ready for the next adventure.

And what an adventure is was.
We encountered a 1000+ pod of Common Dolphins.

They swam in synchronicity. Splashing and playing.

And jumping everywhere. They were happy!

After playing with the dolphins we
headed to the community of San Evaristo.

A turkey vultures looks on.

The group takes shelter under a palapa.
Oh I'm sorry it's not our group. How rather embarassing!!!

Oh here's the group!.

A lizard peeks around the rock as we walk by.

Trying to figure out what this tree was.

A donkey and her foal hidden in the hills.

Heading down into the salt pans.
