Day 4 - Photo Gallery

We decided to start the day snorkeling Lobster Lagoon once again.

Brown sea urchin and Purple Gorgonian coral.

A pair of King Angelfish.

Tan seastar.

A Green Moray Eel looks on.

Finescale Triggerfish.

After the snorkel we explored the salt pans and cactus

alley of Isla San Francisco ending up on Agate Beach.

Hidden in the side of the rocky outcrop,
we found a Hermit crab "condominium".

This was the largest of the residence.

Next on our list of finds is a western banded lizard.

Cute little guy. When we caught him he froze up and didn't move a
muscle until we let him go. Once released he took off with lightening speed.

Amanda holds a rock crab.

As we headed back to the shore Peter stopped with
his garbage bag to pick up litter left behind by thoughtless folks.

When we left the island, Isla San Francisco, we headed to Los Isolotes to swim with the California Sea Lions. We dedicated a page especially for this particular adventure... and it was a huge adventure!

After leaving Los Isolotes we headed to our evening destination.
Land's End on the island of Espritu Santos. It was too beautiful to
pass up a photo op so we rounded up those who were around.
Those not in the following pictures were napping.

First up, Irving and Beverly.
I must say they are looking quite smooth.

Amanda, looking fairly relaxed.

Donna, looking well tanned while hanging on for dear life.

Dave looking like he can't hold still.
But still looking good!

Monique. Looking like a celebrity.

Kenton and Marcie.
Looking like the cutest couple... and they were.

Chillaxin' as the sun begins to set.

The nightlight! The amazing nightlight!!
Where to begin...

Let's start with a Reef Cornetfish.

Then add a school of Reef Cornetfish and a huge concentration of krill.

Next throw in a school of 8 - 12 inch fish (unknown, maybe Mackerel).
The orange being the absolute in concentrated krill...

...end it with a school of, more or less, thousands,  of fish feeding on the krill.
We were entertained for a couple of hours watching the food chain in action.
What a way to end our last night at sea!!!!!
