Day 3 - part 1

Our late morning adventure took us to a new place to explore.

We headed to a small cave to check it out.

After, we landed on the beach to begin our explorations.

We meandered around the beach collecting cool shells.

Then organized a hike up around a snaking trail loaded with fossils.
Remnants of an once present seabed.

A Lizard tries to camouflage itself but we were still able
to track it down. It had caught our eye when it ran across our trail.

There was so much to take in. The geology, lizards, plants, fossils and...

A wasp the size of a thumb. No kidding!!!!!

Fossiliferous sediment.

Katie explores a gypsum deposit in the cemented sandstone.

Most of the group turned around but a
few of us kept going until we hit a dead end bowl.

Some of the guys take refuge from the sun.

So to cool off the group goes for a swim off the back of the boat.

Ice tea plunge (gone bad)...

Splashing...

Playing...

Jumping...

Simply having a blast.

The kids deserve some play time.

On day 3 of our trip we did many things, including hiking, jumping off the back of the boat, giving donations, seeing dolphins as well as star gazing.

Hiking was very hot but very short, we saw many animals, such as lizards, wasps, cacti, etc. we took photos of us having fun. The rocks were all different colors and with many seashells, and puffer fish. We did not go for too long because it was to hot and people were not used to the weather conditions yet.

Jumping off the boat was very fun yet very wet, it was so fun many people did it twice or more. The water was very salty and deep but we all still had a blast. We took pictures while everybody took turns jumping off the boat.
