The coastal fishing community of San Evaristo
is a 4 hour 4 wheel drive through the mountains of the Sierra Gigantes. By
panga (boat) it is equal if not more time depending on sea conditions.
Over the years I have noticed the number of children decrease as they are
all leaving for La Paz to pursue education and other aspirations.
Recently, the school in San Evaristo was closed due to the decrease in
students. |
