David departed the group in the early hours of the morning
on his return to La Paz. However, we slept in until 8 and started out our
day with a delicious breakfast prepared by our two talented chefs :).
After we all finished our breakfast we sailed to Isle Coyote where we
launched the pangas to go ashore and visit the the fishing community (made
up of 5 families) who have lived and fished there for over 3 generations.
On the island we watched one of the skilled workers cut open a stingray
and preserve the meat with salt and brine because there is no
refrigeration or electricity. We saw many cool fish and explored their
tiny rock island. |
