Another beautiful morning sunrise.

Started the day working on the Panterra Expedition Workbook.

were able to show how the lens magnifies objects.

How to filet the wing of a stingray.

The afternoon adventure took us to Lobster
Beach to snorkel, explore and poke around in the rocks.

A cool afternoon snorkel. I mean cool as in temperature.

Sea urchin, coral and fish.

King Angelfish.

Gulf Seastar.

Sally Lightfoot crab is caught and
explored before being released again.

Off to the side a lizard looks on!

On the way to our evening destination a
friendly card game is played on the deck of the bow.

A few students head to the bowsprit for time to reflect on the day.

Jumping, swimming and kayaking before sunset.

Nice way to end another brilliant day of voyage and discovery.

David departed the group in the early hours of the morning on his return to La Paz. However, we slept in until 8 and started out our day with a delicious breakfast prepared by our two talented chefs :). After we all finished our breakfast we sailed to Isle Coyote where we launched the pangas to go ashore and visit the the fishing community (made up of 5 families) who have lived and fished there for over 3 generations. On the island we watched one of the skilled workers cut open a stingray and preserve the meat with salt and brine because there is no refrigeration or electricity. We saw many cool fish and explored their tiny rock island.

After our time at the village we decided to go out snorkeling. There were lots of fish and stuff and it was a great snorkel. After our cold time in the water we sat on the beach and tanned or went off exploring the coastline. When we got back from the beach we ate lunch which once again was delicious :)).

After lunch we set sail to Isla San Jose and spent the evening swimming, jumping of the boat, and kayaking. After that we once again had a delicious supper then did some astronomy; looking at big bear, polaris, north star, big/little dipper, Orion's belt, and the hour glass outside of Orion's belt. The remainder of the night was spent playing cards.
