![]() A Flower Petal Urchin camouflages itself with shells, rocks and coral. ![]() Some in the group chillaxed on the beach while... |
![]() ... others headed out to explore the surrounding arera. ![]() A large Chuckwalla lizard looks on. ![]() We tried to catch him but he was way to fast. |
![]() We arrived at the California sea lion breeding grounds known as "Los Isolotes". ![]() It was a relaxing day for the sea lions. Not much happening, simply taking it all in. ![]() A female poses as we pass by. ![]() Another female swims by. |
![]() A couple of males jostle in the rocks. ![]() Higher up in the rocks the Blue-footed Boobies are in their courting mode. ![]() Soaring above us in the sky is a magnificent Frigate. |
![]() As we head to our evening destination we encounter a pod of Common dolphins. ![]() They splashed all around us. ![]() Jumping and playing along side the boat. |
![]() A little later on we encountered a Finback whale. ![]() Surprisingly it did not mind us approaching it. ![]() It even crossed the bow of the boat. ![]() Once anchored at our evening destination we tried our hand at fishing. |
![]() A few nibbles but mostly the fish ate the bait right off the hook. ![]() Unfortunately the only action was a Pelican pooping on us. Nuts!!!! ![]() After dinner and before the nightlight, we worked on the Panterra Workbooks. |
