The first stop of the day was at the California sea lion breeding grounds/habitat known as Los Isolotes. A close up view of the sea lions chillaxin'. A couple of dominant males jostle for position. |
| A coupe of females take the afternoon off basking in the sun. A young Sallylightfoot crab scurries along the rocks.

| A Blue heron high atop it's nest. This nest has been here for at least 17 years. A Blue Footed Booby sits high atop the habitat. An encounter with Bottlenosed dolphins. |
| They played off the bow of the boat.
|
| A hike on one of the local islands. Salt pans locally mined by the fishermen of Isla Pardito. Had to stop for a taste of real sea salt. |
| A visit through Cactus Alley. The prickly pear cactus. The flowering Prickly Pear cactus. Max the Teddy Bear Cholla. |
| Then off to explore the intertidal zone.
