Daily JournalThe Pink Panterra Seagoing WhalesDay 4 - part 2 - Photo Gallery |
| Our afternoon adventure took us to the fishing community of San Evaristo. The town was quiet as we hiked along the old dirt road. |
| San Evaristo is nestled in the foothills of the beautiful, majestic mountains of the Sierra Gigantes. Brian and Amanda pose for pic beside a Cardon Cactus. |
| Andrew ventures in amongst Pitaya and Cardon cactus. We head over the hill into the commercial salt pan side of the community. The salt pans were being rinsed so there was not much to see. |
| The cattle chillax amidst the pans. A burro takes refuge from the sun in the shade of a palm. Finally we encounter kids from the community. |
| We hike along the pans to the beach.
|
| A poor puffer gets caught up in the waves and washed ashore before being able to deflate.
|
| We have come to the end of our afternoon adventure. On our return you can see the Narval anchored in the bay. |
| Sunset on a beautiful day of adventures. |
| We had turned on the nightlight and a school of fish came around. California Halfbeaks. A tiger snake eel slithers by. |
