Daily JournalThe Pink Panterra Seagoing WhalesDay 5 - Photo Gallery |
| The morning started out quiet. We had just finished breakfast and were deciding what the first adventure of the day would be when someone reported seeing a big splash. It turned out to be a splash from a very happy humpback whale. |
| fluked (shows its' tail)... and breached. We watched for about an hour and then it fluked and disappeared. What an awesome way to start the day and it only got better from there. |
| On the return to the anchorage Vanessa ... Andrew... and Ray, try their hand at steering the ship. We eventually made it back to the anchorage after many hours of being steered off course. Just kidding! |

|
| After a few lessons the group headed out. The sea was alive with the coolest of creatures. These three for starters! |
| We encountered Sea Cucumbers ... An Orange-sided Trigger fish. |
| A Rainbow Wrasse in juvenile to adult transition stage. A Tan Seastar ... and a camouflaged Lobed Puffer fish. It was a pretty awesome afternoon of snorkeling. |
After our snorkel we headed to the cliffs for cliff jumping. |
| The group psychs themselves up! First to jump, DJ, Ray's uncle. Then Ray. Then Andrew. |
Finally, Miss Vanessa. The kids had guts!! |
