Day 7 and 8

Day 7

The group decided to have a morning of absolute chillaxation.

Obviously not the Panterra Logbook.

Everyone was simply chillaxin'...

All except for Shannon who went out on the bow to call the whales.

The whales showed up. Blue whales to be exact.

They were hanging out just like the students.

Two of them. After the whale encounter we headed back to La Paz.
What a way to end the sea portion of the trip!

Day 8

We take the time to express our thanks and appreciation to the crew.

A token of our appreciation is presented to the crew by Jessica.

Hugs goodbye.

A quick group shot and then we headed up to the dock to
meet the vans taking us to Cabo for our return flight home.

The crew hopped in the panga bringing our suitcases to the entrance of the marina.

We loaded up the vans and hopped in.

It was a fantastic week of fun, learning
and exploring such a beautiful part of Mexico.

Day 7
Today we woke up to a beautiful sunrise anchored in the bay of La Paz. The morning started off with a laid back breakfast followed by relaxing activities such as reading, sleeping, and bathing in the sun. We decided we would have a lazy morning on the ship before our shopping extravaganza.

Around 11:30ish we departed in search of whales, dolphins, mantas, and such. Luckily English’s whale calling attracted three blue whales. After hanging with the three blue whales, it was time for lunch. Everyone gathered at the tables and devoured the food placed in front of us. We all enjoyed a large plate of delicious spaghetti and meatballs. This was followed by more relaxation and bathing in the sun. While we enjoyed our free time, the boat made its journey to Marina De La Paz. On arrival we prepared ourselves for a long afternoon of shopping.

After returning to the boat from shopping, burnt and crisp as can be, we headed out once again to experience a delicious Mexican meal while reminiscing about the good times spent on The Narval. Upon return, some gathered to play a game of cards while others prepared themselves for bed. A perfect end to a perfect week.
